So called because it is prepared with Turmeric which gives the milk its golden color, but also its benefits.
Recipe for 4 people
120 g round white rice
40 cl semi-skimmed milk
2 tbsp. Tablespoon Cane Sugar Panela
4 green cardamom capsules
1/2 tsp. turmeric coffee
- Open the green cardamom capsules and keep only the seeds
- Pour the rice, vegetable milk, sugar and cardamom seeds into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and put on medium heat.
- When the milk begins to boil, add the turmeric, cover and cook over low heat until all the milk is absorbed.
- Once cooked, pour everything into a dish or individual cups. It's ready !
For a vegan version, use unsweetened soy milk
