Uganda enjoys two rainy seasons and two vanilla harvests in January and July (main harvest). The fiber of Uganda vanilla is similar to that of the Comoros, wide and flat. Her dress is rather matte. Its aroma is rather animal with a scent reminiscent of leather and peat.
This vanilla is often recommended for salty application, with fish, poultry, cream preparations. It can nevertheless go very well with chocolate or exotic fruits such as mango or roasted pineapple.
