Usage tips

The flavor of cloves is greedy, warm, suave, sweet and spicy, with woody and spicy notes. It is traditionally used in pot au feu and other stews, by studding an onion. You can use it in your meat or vegetable dishes, for your marinades and in your terrines and pâtés. It is essential for grog or mulled wine and it will flavor your compotes or apple, pear or orange jams.
