The famous Guérande sea salt has been harvested for more than 2000 years by traditional Breton salt farmers. The salt fields consist of greyish-blue clay. It releases important minerals and trace elements in the fleur de sel and gives this Atlantic sea salt its unique greyish color and unmistakable taste.
Usage tips
Guérande sea salt is a table salt with a marked salinity and is suitable for most dishes. Due to its high residual moisture, it is only suitable for the salt mill under certain conditions.
