It is in the Salzkammergut, in the Austrian Alps that this fossil salt is extracted, sheltered for 250 million years by a thick layer of rock. This salt is pure and rich in minerals.

Its color, varying from red to brown through shades of brown, makes it a unique, unusual salt, with a frank taste, without aggressiveness, with a pleasant and long salinity in the mouth.

Usage tips

It will be perfect for seasoning white meats, white-fleshed fish, but also for cooked vegetables, pasta and rice.
